Lori, Veterinary Technician

Lori is a Texas native and has lived in the Kerrville area since 2007.  She has been in the veterinary field off and on since 1980.  From 1994-2006 she worked strictly in equine medicine as head technician for Dr. Dutton in Boerne, who specializes in equine lameness and sports medicine and is boarded in equine surgery.  She is the mother of two Weimers, a Jack Russel terrier, a mix and a paint mare.  She loves riding horses, shooting trap and dove hunting with her dog.

Jessica, Certified Veterinary Technician

Jessica is from Mission, Texas and has lived in Kerrville since 2000.  She began volunteering at Town & Country Animal Hospital in 2000 when she was still in high school, and has been a loyal member of the team ever since.  She has a Labrador Retriever, a Basset hound, a Miniature horse and four cats.  She enjoys fishing, spending time with her family and playing with her animals.  

Christina, Certified Veterinary Technician

Christina is originally from San Antonio, Texas and has lived in Kerrville for more than 12 years.  She started working in veterinary medicine at age 16 and and has been a Veterinary Technician for more than 10 years.  She especially loves companion pet care and exotics.  She currently has six cats, four domestic short hair, a Russian blue and an exotic short hair.  She loves spending time with her 12-year-old son who is the love of her life.  She also enjoys lots of outdoor activities such as hiking, camping and playing paintball.

Gretel, Veterinary Technician Assistant

Gretel is originally from Texas and has lived locally since 2007.  She has worked as a paramedic for 22 years and has recently retired from human health care.  Although she has worked with human health most of her life, Gretel has always been an animal lover.  She has two mules, two horses, one donkey, three dogs and five cats.  She loves riding mules and horses, reading, building rock walls and gardening. 

 

Rob, Veterinary Technician Assistant

Rob is originally from Big Spring, Texas and has lived in Kerrville since 2004.  He was in the armed forces, stationed in Fort Carson, CO 1-68 Div and served in Iraq (operation Iraqi Freedom) for one year.  "It was quite an experience, and I am proud to have been a part of something that would bring change for the better of this world.  Thanks to all the soldiers and veterans who fight and have fought for a great cause."  He has three dogs, one turtle named “Squirt" and a cat called "Gray Cat".  Fishing is his favorite thing to do.  He also likes camping, hiking, playing with his animals and hanging out at the river during the summers.  Rob is always up for a challenge and keeps us laughing.

  

Jasmine, Veterinary Technician

Switzerland is where Jasmine was born.  She has traveled to China, Thailand, Africa, Europe and Malaysia, but Jasmine has called the Texas Hill Country her home since 1995.  Some of her animal care experience comes from working as an adoption specialist for an animal shelter.  She has two Australian Heelers, a Lab and three cats.  She loves dancing, spending time with family and friends, traveling and taking her dogs swimming. 

 

Hannah, Veterinary Technician

Born and raised in Center Point, Texas, Hannah has always called the Hill Country her home.  Hannah started working at Town and Country in 2003 as a junior in high school.  She continued to work here while attending Schreiner University, where she recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.  She has three dogs, three cats and a horse.  She loves working in the yard, reading, playing with the critters, long walks with her husband and learning anything.  "I really enjoy spending time with clients, educating them on what is best for their pet and why.   It can really make a difference in not only the pet’s life but the owner's as well."
